This beautiful youth centre in West Flanders brings you to the rural municipality of Loppem. Ideal for a trip to Bruges and the coast, but even on the site, many things are waiting to be discovered!

The youth centre includes 20 hectares of play forest, 10 hectares of camping meadow and is surrounded by 70 hectares of nature.

You can stay in full board or cook yourself. We have the dining room Fourage where 180 people can be seated.

The entire building is wheelchair accessible and a (wheelchair) path on the site connects the building with all important places on our property. There are separate parking places for disabled people at the building, we have two wheelchair accessible bathrooms with shower and toilet on the ground floor and an accessible toilet on the first floor; in addition there is also an adapted outdoor sanitary facility, and a charging point to recharge your electric wheelchair.

Merkenveld is very well accessible by bicycle, bus, car and train.
