Practical Information
At Hopper, you can choose the option that best suits your group: a building, an annex, a campsite, self-catering or full board.
Accommodation
-
Group buildings
Each Hopper youth centre has a main building. This is usually where you will find the largest capacity, common rooms, activity spaces and reception facilities. The main building can often be divided into smaller units. -
Annexes and smaller accommodations
Several sites also offer separate buildings. These can be rented individually or combined with other buildings or campsites. -
Campsites, shelters and mini-shelters
At Hopper, you can camp at various locations on a meadow or in a clearing in the forest, with sanitary facilities nearby. Some locations also offer accommodation in (mini-)shelters or tents: simple overnight facilities close to nature, ideal for smaller groups or hikers. -
Day use and meeting rooms
You can also use our buildings or grounds for a single day, for example for an activity, meeting, training session or day trip.
Self-catering or full board?
-
Self-catering
Many buildings have fully equipped kitchens where you can prepare meals for groups yourself. -
Full board
Prefer not to cook yourself? Then you can choose full board. Together, we will determine which meals your group requires. -
Bread and drinks
Bread and drinks can be provided on request, so you do not have to arrange them yourself. -
Exceptions per accommodation
In some main buildings, only full board is available. Exceptions may apply for Scouts and Guides Flanders or during specific periods.
Prices and rates
-
Price per person per day
Most rates are calculated per person per day. -
Price per building
For the log cabins at De Kluis, Moerkensheide, De Winner and De Brink, a daily rate is charged for the building. -
Weekend package
A weekend always counts as 2 days and runs from Friday evening until Sunday evening. -
No surprises afterwards
Under normal use, electricity, heating, water and waste collection are included when staying in a building. For camping, consumption may be charged separately.
We are able to keep our prices low because we ask all groups to make a small contribution by taking care of the dishes and final cleaning. If these tasks need to be carried out by our staff, an additional charge will apply. This is only possible if agreed in advance with the manager of the youth centre. -
Full board
The price of a full-board stay includes accommodation (= the self-catering accommodation rate), 3 delicious meals and an afternoon snack.
ADVANTAGE: a midweek stay from Monday to Friday is charged as 4 overnight stays instead of 5! -
Discounted rates for youth organisations
Recognised youth organisations benefit from reduced rates. Additional favourable conditions apply to Scouts and Guides Flanders.
Practical information for each accommodation
When viewing an accommodation, you will immediately find all practical information: available options, capacity, facilities and an indicative price for your group. This gives you a quick overview of which accommodation best suits your plans.
