Directions to Scoutel

By public transport

By train
The Youth Residence Scoutel is only a 3-minute-walk away from the railway station of Central Antwerp, nearby the Kievietsplein (Kieviet square) at the new and second entry of the station.
From there on, go left into the Pelikaanstraat.
After about 500 metres, go under the bridge at the traffic lights. Follow the pedestrian path and you will come into the Stoomstraat.

At the end of it you arrive automatically in the Stoomstraat. That takes only one minute!

By coach
At the bus stop on the Roosevelt square (Rooseveltplaats), you walk to the Anneessensstraat, into the direction of the Keyserlei.
There, go to the left into the direction of the railway station of Central Antwerp.
Then follow the Pelikaanstraat.
After about 500 metres, go under the bridge at the traffic lights. Follow the pedestrian path and you will come into the Stoomstraat.

By the underground
Take the Underground route 2 (Hoboken) or 15 (Mortsel) until the Diamant station.
After about 500 metres, go under the bridge at the traffic lights. Follow the pedestrian path and you will come into the Stoomstraat.

By car or by your own coach

Coming from different direction you will arrive on the Ring of Antwerp.
On the Ring, coming from Breda, Eindhoven, Hasselt or Lií¨ge, take exit 3 of Borgerhout, go up and turn to the right into the Plantin and Moretuslei.
If you are on the Ring, coming from Ghent, Brussels, Ostend or Boom, take exit 3 of Borgerhout, go up and turn to the left into the Plantin and Moretuslei.

If you are coming from Eindhoven, Hasselt or Lií¨ge, take exit 17 of Borgerhout and do NOT go on the Ring!
At the traffic lights, turn to the left into the Singel.
On the Singel, go straight on and pass the first traffic lights.
Then get in the right-hind lane and go to the right at the second traffic lights.
Now you are in the Plantin and Moretuslei.

Follow the Plantin and Moretuslei until the 5th traffic lights.
After the railway bridge, go to the right into the Simonstraat.
At the first traffic lights, pass under the railway bridge, at the right side you will see the Youth Residence Scoutel.

Parking

In the Stoomstraat, there is no parking!
An underground parking is accessible by the Van Immerseelstraat.
Coming out of the parking you are just at the entry of the station in front of the Youth Residence Scoutel.
