Accommodation at Merkenveld

Full-board
The Fourage, a polyvalent dining room for 160 persons, guarantees a smooth service of the meals. The menu is elaborated in advance and in collaboration with the clients. We offer special attention to vegetarian meals, meals without pork, food allergies and special diets. We serve our guests daily 4 substantial meals, fresh meals suitable for children.

Self-catering formula
A full-equipped kitchen with cooking and eating stuffs adjusted to your group, are at your disposal. And the baker livers fresh bread every morning.

Accommodation for activities during the day
The Youth Residence Merkenveld disposes of 10 rooms, which can be used separately for activities during the day such as study and meditation days, meetings, workshops and so on. Each room is equipped with tables, chairs and a blackboard. Flysheet boards, an overhead and slide projector with screen, a sound mixer and a video and DVD player are available. On your demand we also can prepare meals with sandwiches, warm meals and coffee breaks.

Sleeping accommodation
The Youth Residence Merkenveld has 132 beds divided over three units. During the school weeks our residence is also available for 16 persons. The units can easily be used in combination with each other so that we can offer a stay to a total of 148 persons.

Camping areas
The Youth Residence Merkenveld owns 30 hectares of woods and grasslands. 10 hectares of them are suitable for camping in tents. Those 10 hectares are divided in 17 camping areas adjoining 20 hectares of play forest.
For large groups from 70 persons we have apart grassland of 2 hectares. You have a les comfort, but also a lower price: from 30 to 50% discount on the normal camp rates.
