Hopper youth center Merkenveld - Loppem (near Brugge)

The Youth Residence Merkenveld is situated in the rural district Loppem (a borough of the City Zedelgem), 10 kilometres southwards from Bruges and 10 kilometres from the Belgian coast. This youth stay includes 20 hectares of play forest and 10 hectares of camping areas, and adjoins a 70 hectares nature domain. The Youth Residence Merkenveld is easily accessible by bike, by coach and by train.

Schools are staying in Merkenveld for forest classes, meditation and training days, and schoolwork weeks. Youth movements and Youth Work organise their camps with tents, bivouac, weekends, workshops and trainings.
