You can reach plenty of sites just by walking. For further activities you can hire our bicycles. We have tourist brochures of Herentals and the environment at your disposal.
Nature exploration
• Educational forest path, with exercise book for teachers and students
• Educational Campine garden, with various regional trees and a small pond. In an exercise book (available for all the students) you have the description of the different kinds of trees en what they are used for.
• A variety of nature sets (workshop packages) are available for own use or to use under the guidance of a nature guide. The following issues are treated: water, bottom, plants and trees
• Educational material for exploration of the nature: binoculars, field glasses, microscopes, material for water research …
• Different sites are worth a visit by walking with a nature guide: the Moerven (mere), the Snepkensvijver (pond),‘t Peerdsbos (wood), Gemeentehei (municipal moorland), Bosbergen, Lavendelven (mere) and ‘t Saske (lock) of the A-creek.
